Doncaster Mind is a successful mental health charity providing a wide range of services to help support people’s mental health and wellbeing.

We’re looking for someone to work within their communities to ensure that people and their families are at the heart of delivering the mental health transformation programme across Doncaster. They will do this by working in partnership, increasing outreach and engagement and strengthening community centred approaches around mental health and wellbeing.

The role will include prioritising and promoting health and wellbeing in community settings by taking an informal and personal approach to working with communities to support and address their priorities in relation to mental health and aid the delivery of mental health support in areas of most need.

We want to hear from people who:

  • Know their community – the people and place

  • Are trusted by people in their community

  • Are passionate about positive change

  • Have the desire to help people

  • Ability to influence people

  • Lived experience and insight of mental ill health

You may not feel that you have all the above criteria but may have the passion to implement change within mental health services and support, so we are asking you to come along to one of the events below to learn more, meet the staff and find the confidence to apply for the post!
