New!!! Mental Health Community Connectors Project!
Doncaster Mind is a successful mental health charity providing a wide range of services to help support people’s mental health and wellbeing.
We are pleased to announce that we have secured some funding thanks to the Mental Health Transformation Work through RDaSH, CCG and Well Doncaster to deliver a Mental Health Community Connectors Project for the next 12 months. The project will see a team of four connectors based in the four localities in Doncaster (see table below), they will need to connect individuals to existing community support services and consult with communities to map gaps in local support provision.

Mental Health Community Connectors Coordinator
This team will be supported by a Community Connector Coordinator who will work full time supporting these connectors and ensuring that people and their families are at the heart of the mental health transformation programme across Doncaster by building on and enhancing the existing Community Connectors model.
Drawing on their own lived experience of mental illness and co-ordinating the activities of 4 Community Connectors (based in Doncaster North, East, Central & South communities) the post holder will co-produce delivery of the mental health transformation programme, working with communities to support and address community priorities in relation to mental health in a strengths based methodology to aid the delivery of targeted interventions in areas of most need.
