Day 1 - #MindfulMonday - With you in Mind!

Banner - Mindfulness

Welcome to the beginning of “With You in Mind” Campaign to celebrate World Mental Health Day!

Today we are going to focus on Mindfulness and how this can help us to relax, pay more attention to our present moment – to our own thoughts and feelings, and to the world around you – which can help to improve your mental wellbeing.

Mindfulness is an ancient art of paying attention to what is happening in the now. It helps us to pause and appreciate what unfolds in any given moment.  Learning how to see what is happening, taking in the moment, feel the part of something great and enjoying the sensations.

Mindfulness will help you to experience who you really are through the 5 senses.  Our Mindfulness Wizard, Ania, has created 7 short videos to help you learn about Mindfulness, practice it and embrace the here and now. You can listen to one a day or find your favourite and use it again and again.

We hope you enjoy the short exercises that we have put together for you to enjoy the moment, live life more fully and centre on the here and now by paying attention to what is.

We’d love to hear how you found the Mindfulness Sessions on our social media with the #withyouinmind

If you have any questions please feel free to email me on laura@doncastermind.org.uk

Happy Mindful Monday!
