We have been awarded the prestigious Mind Quality Mark!

We are so proud to announce that we have been awarded the esteemed Mind Quality Mark, a rigorous quality assurance standard that sets the bar for good practice and legal compliance within the Mind Federation. This accreditation shows our commitment to providing high-quality mental health support for the community in Doncaster.

The Mind Quality Mark is a comprehensive assessment that assesses all local Minds' adherence to standards of excellence in mental health support. This assessment occurs once every three years and is led by individuals with lived experience of mental health challenges, alongside senior leaders from other local Minds. The evaluation process is based on a thorough examination of documentary evidence, as well as interviews and survey responses from trustees, staff, volunteers, and service users.

To achieve the Mind Quality Mark, a local Mind must demonstrate that they are a well-run organisation delivering safe and life-changing support for individuals with mental health issues. All of which we have demonstrated and is only made possible from the hard work of the entire Doncaster Mind team, from our volunteers and staff to our trustees and service users.

As we have consistently strived to provide the highest standard of care and support for those in our community facing mental health challenges, this achievement proves our commitment to promoting mental well-being, reducing stigma, and ensuring that everyone experiencing a mental health difficulty gets both the support and respect, they need and deserve to lead fulfilling lives.

We are very grateful for the support of all our volunteers, staff, trustees, and service users, who have all played an integral role in earning this recognition. With the Mind Quality Mark as a guiding standard, we will continue to innovate and evolve our services to meet the evolving needs of the community in Doncaster.
