How we supported Doncaster with their Mental Health in June 2020

In June 2020, we continued to support Doncaster’s Mental Health with our partners, Changing Lives.

In June alone, we support 250 people through welfare support, online courses and telephone counselling.

We had 48 new referrals in this month who are all either in line to receive the support they’ve requested, or are already accessing the service.

We have provided online resources, both on our website and through social media, to support you with new coping strategies, ways of thinking or abilities to access activities like mindfulness.

We run an online craft group every Monday afternoon, where we share what crafts we’ve been doing and have a new activity to try.

In total, in June we ran 557 sessions of support and made a difference to people facing social isolation, anxiety due to coronavirus and supported those with new and existing mental health difficulties.

If you feel that you would benefit from accessing our service, please call 01302 812190 or email office@doncastermind.org.uk
