Volunteer Befrienders

We are looking to recruit volunteer befrienders to work on a one to one basis with adults who are experiencing moderate level of difficulty with their mental health/emotional wellbeing. 

As a volunteer befriender you will support someone in the community to increase access to activities and community resources with the aim of reducing their social isolation. 

Volunteers will meet someone each week for, up to 16 weeks and each session will be around 2 hours. 

Training will be provided to equip you for this role which can be both challenging and rewarding.
